Discharge Feeder

The Plastic Shredder shred all types of plastic materials including HDPE, LDPE, PVC, PET and Styrofoam. The discharge mode is by a lower drawer. The feeding hopper is designed to feed items safely and regularly. There are 6 rotor knives and 2 bed knives. The rotor shaft is mounted on heavy roller bearings. The shredded particles range in size from 3 to 10 mm. The shredder is operating within permissible noise levels (sound level 75 dB). The rotor is operated by an electric motor20 HP. The shredder is supplied with an emergency stop button, safety device that shuts down automatically if hopper is opened during operation. The shredder is supplied with a leaflet for operation and maintenance.

  • The shredding is achieved by the action of cutting blades mounted on single shaft operated by a rotor diameter 400 mm, speed 500 rpm: the blade – holder shaft is mounted on heavy roller bearings. There are 6 rotor knives and 2 fixed knives.
  • The shredder is operating within permissible noise levels (sound level 75 dB)
  • The rotor is operated by an electric 3 phases electric motor 380/660 volts/50 Hz/20 HP=15KW.
  • The shredder will be supplied with an emergency stop button mounted externally.
  • The shredder will be supplied with safety device that shuts down automatically if hopper is opened during operation for cleaning purpose.
  • The shredder is supplied with a leaflet for operation and maintenance.
